SPECIFICATION OF LIMITS OF POSSIBLE EXISTENCE OF SATELLITES IN THE GRAVITATIONAL FIELD OF PLANETS
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2016, Vol 29, Issue
Abstract
It is known that the satellites of the planets may exist in the area, which is bounded on one side by Rocha limit, on the other – Hill sphere. The article deals with the determination of the Rocha limits and Hill sphere of satellites of some planets in the solar system. This analysis revealed some features and identified the main factors influencing the setting of these parameters. Roche limits and Hill sphere parameters of the largest satellites of the planets of the solar system have been specified.

THE SULPHUR ABUNDANCE BEHAVIOUR IN THE GALACTIC DISC STARS
The sulphur abundances in the atmospheres of the F-G-K-type dwarf stars that belong to the thin and thick disc populations (in the metallicity range – 1.0 < [Fe/H] < 0.3) were determined. The observations were conducted...
ANALYSIS OF ASTEROID’S OBSERVATIONS IN OPEN PHOTOMETRIC DATABASES
Today there are several open photometric databases containing important information for the study of the physical properties of asteroids. These databases are based on the results of various measurements of the different...
PROBLEM OF SUPER-STRONG MAGNETIC FIELDS ON THE SUN: BRIEF CHRONOLOGY AND NEW OBSERVATIONAL DATA
In this study we present the old and new observational data concerning the problem of extreme magnetic fields ( 5 kG) in the Sun's atmosphere. We emphasize that the upper limit of the intensity of the magnetic field i...
REVERBERATION MEASUREMENT OF THE INNER RADIUS OF THE DUST TORUS IN NGC 4151 DURING 2008-2013
We investigate the correlation between infrared (JHKL) and optical (B) fluxes of the variable nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 using partially published data for the last 6 years (2008-2013). Here we are using the...
HIP 13962 – THE POSSIBLE FORMER MEMBER OF BINARY SYSTEM WITH SUPERNOVA
The run away supergiant star HIP13962 (spectral type G0Ia) was recently pointed as a possible former binary companion of young pulsar PSRJ0826+2637. The spectraof HIP13962 wereo btained in Haute-Provence observatory (Fra...
