SPECIFICS OF INTERNATIONAL LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY OF INTERNATIONAL INTERGOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
The article deals with the main aspects of the responsibility of international intergovernmental organizations and thoroughly analyzes such concepts as: international legal responsibility, international organization and its types. The authors analyze the First Report on Responsibility of International Organizations. The types of responsibility for international offenses and the grounds for bringing to it are considered on the example of the Council of Europe. In conclusion, the authors point out the importance of the institution of international legal responsibility of international intergovernmental organizations for ensuring stability and the rule of law in international legal relations.
