Music articulation and ability for its expressive rendering are included in intonational complex of a pianist’s art technique. The articulation is of great importance for interpreting works, for art style and composer’s style identification, for solving educational problems at Music lessons at school. The reasoning of such abilities formation is substantiated: they are formed in going from theory to practice, form learning to reflection, self)knowledge, from reproductive creative work to independent one. In the course of the experiment the above)mentioned methodology was being implemented gradually. The musical and performing articulation abilities were formed in three stages: inception and reflexive, cognitive aimed at understanding the phenomenology of musical and performing articulation complex and self)assessment of articulation abilities command when interpreting piano works; performing and rehearsal, technological aimed at mastering musical articulation technique, independent work on performing touches; search and compensatory, creative aimed at stimulating creative independence in selecting articulatory expressive means when rendering artistic image of a work.
