State of the Art about illness of the Brazilian university student

Abstract
In this study carried out through the state of the art, the objective was to identify the trajectory of the Brazilian scientific discussions about the sickness of the university student. Data collection was performed between April and May 2018, in the databases of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses, in the Capes periodical portal and in the SciELO website. We used the descriptors causes of sickness of the university student and health of the university student. As criteria for inclusion in the corpus were stipulated: be Brazilian production, thesis, dissertation or article published in scientific journal, have as locus federal and / or state universities and absence of time cut for publications. It was identified 18 works produced between the years of 1950 and 2017. Difficulties of adaptation to the university context, student teacher relationship, the oppressive format of higher education, detachment from the family, feeling helpless in the face of the unknown, early use of alcohol and drugs and poor eating habits, were the main causes identified. It was verified that the sickness of the student is related to personal and / or institutional issues and which demand attention from higher education institutions.
