STATE REGULATION OF RAILWAY TRANSPORT AS NATURAL MONOPOLY

Abstract
The article describes the main methods of state regulation of railway transport as a natural monopoly, namely the establishment of a special authority regulation, direct management of enterprises, competitive market access. It is determined that the main tool to curb railroad monopolies is increase competition by ensuring free entry into the market of rail transportation.
