STATUS AND TRENDS OF LABOR MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL AREAS

Abstract
Formation and rational use of labor potential in the agrarian sector of the economy is an important strategic task, from which the food security depends on the success of each region and the country as a whole. Therefore, the goal is to identify the main problems that exist on the labor market in rural Ukraine, to identify their causes and outline directions for their solution. Commonly methods of research are used: dialectical, monographic, abstract and logical methods, the method of scientific generalization, and specific methods of statistical processing of information in the course of the study. The article considers the general situation on the domestic labor market in rural areas in recent years. Authors investigate the specific tendencies characteristic of the labor market in the countryside. The main problems of the current stage of market development are revealed, in particular, the deepening of the imbalance between demand and supply of labor in the village. It is established that the causes of unbalanced development of this market are connected both with price and non-price factors. The main directions of the solution of this problem are outlined, which should include a system of measures both at the national level and at the local level with the involvement of all market participants. Subsequent studies are planned to be conducted on the assessment of the efficiency of the use of labor resources in rural areas and the improvement of state policy in this area.
