Status materiałów archiwalnych przechowywanych w historycznych archiwach kościelnych

Abstract
Status narodowego zasobu archiwalnego dzieli się na państwowy i niepaństwowy. Materiały archiwalne wytworzone przez kościoły i związki wyznaniowe należą do niepaństwowego ewidencjonowanego zasobu archiwalnego. Ustawodawca nakłada na właścicieli materiałów archiwalnych ograniczenia. Mają je ewidencjonować, chronić przed uszkodzeniem, zniszczeniem, utratą i poddawać koniecznej konserwacji oraz udostępniać badaczom. Ustawodawca zakazuje ich wywozu oraz obrotu i zbycia na rzecz innych podmiotów, z wyjątkiem Skarbu Państwa.
