STEM project for secondary school teachers – pedagogical innovation with new technologies at school

Abstract
The article presents issues related to new technologies and describes the teacher’s role in a modern school and their required competence in information and communication technology. It also discusses a pedagogical innovation “STEM Educational Project” of Warsaw Technical University, which aims at high school teachers, and its impact on the popularisation of exact sciences, engineering and new technologies among young people.
