STRATEGY TO DEVELOP FAB LABS AND THEIR IMPACT ON IMPROVING BUSINESS ACTIVITY IN GEORGIA

Abstract
The article considers the role of Fab Labs for Georgia and in achieving the country’s economic growth. Today, Fab Labs play an important role in many countries of the world and have become particularly popular in recent years. Fab Labs help any person with an innovative idea or concrete business startup idea wishing to realize it in practice. Our theoretical study explores the works of the world leading specialists and legal-normative documents, while the practical study explores the qualitative properties of the Fab Labs in Georgia. The study used questionnaires, statistical information, information sources about the Fab Labs, as well as analysis, synthesis, graphical, grouping and comparison methods. The study has evaluated the level of development of Fab Labs and their impact on the business activity in Georgia. The recommendations to support the development and better efficiency of Fab Labs were developed.
