Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 8, Issue 8

Abstract

Having expanded punitive law through the world, there would be a need for laws and rules governing states and nations and permanent neutral institutions observing the implementation of these laws and rules. Having established international criminal court, Islamic Republic of Iran encounters serious challenges and significant changes in critical point of globalization of punitive law. Therefore countries’ unique acceptance of court will have inevitable effects on legal and political state of governments which are members or non-members of the court and inserted norms in its rules will have important consequences on national domination and survival of countries. Consequently Iran government is not excluded from this influence and should consider joining or non-joining the international criminal court as the most serious reality of international punitive law that will be going to be studied in this research.
