Substantiation for Rational Antibacterial Therapy of Respiratory Bacterial Diseases in Children

Journal Title: Здоров`я дитини - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 60

Abstract

This article discusses the current state of the problem of antibiotic therapy for bacterial respiratory infections in children. The use of third generation cephalosporin — cefpodoxime proxetil (Cefodox) in respiratory diseases is scientifically substantiated. The experience of foreign and domestic experts, as well as our own experience of using cefpodoxime proxetil in the treatment of respiratory bacterial infections in children, is provided.
