Abstract

Most environmental problems have economic roots. The market model of the economy is constantly generating sharp contradictions: the market, determined by the continuous growth of needs, which itself, in turn, stimulates this growth, is uniquely focused on obtaining the greatest possible profit at any price. History shows that the entire industrial and economic practice of mankind has long and still been closely associated with a significant deviation from the laws of nature. Having imagined himself above nature, man created for himself the illusion of almost independence from it, and forgot that nature itself is the primary source of the existence of life and production activity. The nature of this is often cruelly destroyed. You can only counteract this by greening the economy. All the problems of sustainable development are undoubtedly based on the ideas of social ecology. Therefore, the article systematizes the main methodological principles of sustainable development in the part related to the development of material production and consumption of products, which will further develop the main approaches to ensuring the sustainable development of individual sectors of the domestic economy.
