Synthesis, Characterization And Crystallographic Features Of Zirconium Molybdo-Pyrophosphate As A Composite Material
Journal Title: International Journal of Innovative Research & Growth - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 6
Abstract
Abstract A three inorganic ion exchange materials zirconium phosphate, zirconium molybdateand zirconium molybdo-pyrophosphate have been synthesized under identical conditions. Structures of these materialswere established by chemical analysis,X-ray diffraction, thermo-gravimetric and differential thermal analyses, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray fluorescence analysis. From the data obtained the synthesized materials can be written as (Zr1.15PO4.8.3H2O)for zirconium phosphate with an amorphous structure and (Zr1.18Mo6.7.2H2O) and(Zr1.7MoPO7.2.3H2O) for zirconium molybdate and zirconium molybdo-pyrophosphate, respectively, with the semicrystalline structures. The data obtained from X-ray peak broadening analysis was used to evaluate the crystallite size and lattice strain by Scherer’s formula and Williamson-Hall (W.H) analyses. The chemical stability of these materials has been investigated in water and acidic media. The ion exchange capacity of zirconium molybdo-pyrophosphate for Pb2+ and Cd2+ ions have been studied at different heating temperatures.
Impact Of Solar Activities On Climate: A Study
Abstract The sun is the source of the energy that drives the biological and physical processes in the world around us and in the atmosphere it warms air which drives our weather. The rate of energy coming from the sun ch...
Mergers And Corporate Inversions: The Case Of Pfizer
Abstract Pfizer carefully proposed two plans in 2014 and tried to negotiate for reducing the company’s corporate tax rate and its further expansion into global markets. First it was through corporate conversion includin...
Application Of Numerical Methods In Solving Schrodinger’s Equation
Abstract In this paper we work on the applications of numerical methods in quantum mechanics problem. The Schrodinger’s equation has converted into polar form and the numerical solution is obtained by using Crank Nicolso...
Study Of Coronal Mass Ejections Associated With Radio Burst Related Geomagnetic Storms With Solar Wind Disturbances
Abstract In this manuscript we have studied radio bursts (RB) related geomagnetic storms (GMS) Dst ≤ -90nT for the period 1997 to 2012. From the data analysis, we have found total number of radio bursts related geomagnet...
Energy Module In The Life Of Stars: A Study
The historical back ground of different to settle down to a neutron star equilibrium configuration. The contraction would continue without end beyond the event horizon and ultimately what is left is nothing but a gravita...
