Abstract

Abstract The article discusses the key role of managing the transformation of knowledge and ideas into innovations, especially in the face of rapidly changing market dynamics, consumer demands, increased competition and technological advances. It emphasizes the need to strengthen the relationship between the science, education and production sectors and develop appropriate management mechanisms to develop an innovative and knowledge-intensive economy. The article also explores the history and importance of university-industry collaboration dating back to Professor Frederick Terman's concept in the 1950s that led to the creation of high-tech industrial parks such as Silicon Valley. Inspired by the success of such models, many countries have adopted strategies for creating science parks to develop high-tech industries and promote technological potential with the aim of stimulating economic growth and regional development. The article highlights the important role of technology parks in promoting innovation and economic development, serving as centers for the development and production of competitive high-tech products. It advocates policy incentives and government support to foster innovation in the national economy, resulting in economic growth and prosperity.
