THE ACTIVITY OF LVIV WOMEN’S COUNCILS IN MID-1940S – FIRST HALF OF 1950S

Abstract
In this article are analyzed the directions of activities of women's councils on the territory of Lviv region in the mid-1940s – first half 1950s. Here was demonstrated the interaction between these authorities with the native people aimed to attract them for the economics rebuilding, socio-political and cultural life, participating in agitation and outreach work of Soviet power. Moreover, in this article was reflected the role of women councils in the educational level of female population of Lviv region increasing, in the first decade of post-war reconstruction.
