The aliance as a company strategy in the presence of competition

Abstract

The observation of contemporary competition encourages the conclusion that its traditional manifestation based on different forms of fight is becoming slowly a thing of the past. Contemporary corporations analyse the costs of competition. It turned out that different forms of co-operation are more beneficial than pure forms of competition. The strategic alliances are a particular form of co-operation. In contemporary economies their impact is constantly growing. Very frequently their activities encompass marketing strategies.
