Abstract
The article is devoted to the compulsory acquisition of land and other immovable property located at them, which are privately owned, for public needs or social necessity. Based on the analysis, generalization and systematization of legal acts of Ukraine governing the issue was allocated a range of not enough regulatory its components. During the analysis of legislation of Ukraine and foreign countries were the conclusions and recommendations to improve the current legislation.
