THE APPLICATION OF CLUSTER ANALYSIS FOR STUDYING SPRING WATER CHEMISTRY AND QUALITY IN ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKI NATIONAL PARK AND GRYŻYŃSKI LANDSCAPE PARK

Abstract
Cluster analysis was applied for assessment of spring water quality in groundwater outflows located in Świętokrzyski National Park (N=14) and in Gryżyński Landscape Park (N=11). Although, the hydrochemistry of the analyzed spring waters was relatively uniform, the statistical analyses allowed to group them into several clusters. The grouped groundwater outflows share the imprints of local controlling factors. The most important of them are rock types in the aquifer, pattern and rate of groundwater flow and human impact.
