THE ARHETYPEOF THE CITY IN THE NOVEL I. NECHUY-LEVITSKY «CLOUDS»: FUNCTIONAL PARADIGM

Abstract
Of the article analyses the artistic-aesthetic concept of archetype of the city in the novel I. Neshuya-Levytsky «Clouds», explores the narrative functionality.The article investigates the functionality of the archetype of of the city, it noted that determine the value for the landscape and the spatial and poetikal systems have writer myth of Kiev, which, by simulating the harmony and beauty of the world, claiming vitalist concept of life, is both bright prezentant worldview archetypes of the Ukrainian people. An analysis of the text of the novel has provided the way for integrated interpretation of topos Kiev as mental archetype with expressive historiosophical dominant as it was revealed.
