The aviation human factor as a necessary element of human resources management in the public transport

Abstract
The paper has been prepared as a part of the European SHERPA project and of the Safety Management System (SMS). An outline of chosen issues concerning „Human Factors ” is presented, to inspire the aviation „Human Factor” implementation for the purposes of the common transport and not only. These training courses are compulsory in aviation and contribute to a decline in the occurrence of undesirable events caused by the humans. The model drawn up was initially modified and verified while training the staff of the road and rail transport. The achieved results indicate, that during the implementation of organizational, technical or legal solutions the training, including the „ Human Factor”, is necessary because it is an essential element of the SMS.
