During then 1920-s, the Ukrainian reader in Galicia received evidence about the most important political events that were connected with the International policy and colonialism. Colonialism basically means taking over a place by force. In the European context, colonialism refers to the process wherein Europeans stay and wield political power over a large part of the world, including parts of Africa and Asia. Through colonialism, colonizers were able to impose policies upon and rule over the people and places they occupied – their colonies. The main thesis of the article is that the information in «Dilo» articles was presented uneven and in most it present the view of the Western Press, but the style of how this information was presented is a key to analysis of the problem. We can see that the problem of European colonialism was presented in «Dilo» quite uneven but regularly. Ukrainian reader n Galicia received evidence about the most important political events that were connected with the International policy and colonialism. The most varied are reports about British colonial system and conflicts that Great Britain, Spain and France had in Morocco, China, Palestine. The Soviet activity also was described by journalists. The reports mostly represent the information that was provided in German, British and other European countries Press, but the way the evidence was presented to Ukrainian readers provides us important evidence about the perception of colonialism in the Central Eastern Europe during the interwar period.
