Abstract
In this scientific article disclosed the concept of administrative and legal status of the National Bank of Ukraine. Identified the types of legal status of the NBU. Proposed the separation of structure elements of the administrative and legal status of the NBU. Organizational elements of status is the purpose of creation, organizational structure, principles, objectives, activities, the establishment, reorganization and liquidation, the presence of structural formations. Content elements is rights, duties, administrative responsibility, authority and competence.
