THE DIALECTICS OF CATEGORIES “AGGRESSION” AND “TOLERANCE” IN CONDITIONS OF THE GLOBALIZATION

Abstract
The research is aimed at presenting and evaluating aggression and tolerance from the point of view of theoretical understanding of material as paired categories. The purpose is to justify that aggression and tolerance are two sides of a single whole, which are paired categories, where both sides are equivalent and can not exist without separetely. The author proceeds from the point of view, that one of the ways to understand the meaning and limits of tolerance is to analyze the forms and manifestations of its opposition intolerance, since the extreme form of manifestation of intolerance is aggression. A large number of works by foreign classical and contemporary authors, national scholars devoted to the problems of aggression and tolerance. A large number of classifications of levels of paired categories of “aggression’ and “tolerance”: interpersonal, intraspecific, interspecific, intragroup, intergroup, inter-ethnic, intraorganizational, interorganizational, transnational, trans-corporative, inter-civilizational, etc. confirms the relevance and significance of the topic of study, its scientific interest and its prospect of theoretical study. The author proves the necessity of taking into account the parity of the categories “aggression” and “tolerance”, their mutual influence, the relationship in the context of trends in the development of modern society, which can be characterized as processes of globalization, individualization and informatization, which are based on the interaction of individuals, nations and states, the need to combine knowledge, skills and technology to effectively achieve the goal. Low level of tolerance, misunderstanding of its value as an instrument for productive interaction in society, for preservation of peace and well-being, increases the probability of aggressive manifestations in behavior, increases the probability of occurrence of a number of conflicts. The global community in the context of globalization processes is aimed not only at combating the effects of manifestations of aggression, but also on the prevention of conflicts, the tolerant process of peace in various forms of aggression. The usefulness of theoretical researches of dialectics of phenomena of aggression and tolerance in the conditions of globalization, individualization and informatization of modern society is updated.
