THE FORMATION OF TECHNICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE NURSES IN STUDYING THE NATURE OF IONIZING RADIATION

Abstract
The topicality of the article lies in the fact that most modern medical devices and equipment used for diagnosis and treatment are constructively technical with operation principle based on the laws of physics. Modern medical staff is to navigate freely among the new devices and their capabilities, thus being able to conduct diagnostic procedures rationally. The article deals with the problems of future nurses’ technical competence formation in the process of learning physical principles of ionizing radiation. The author researches the ways of technical competence formation, works out approaches to restructuring of learning material in accordance with its importance for professional activities of future nurses. Special attention is focused on didactic aspects of learning physical principles of modern diagnostic and therapeutic methodology based on ionizing radiation use.
