THE IDEA-SEMANTIC FILLING OF COSSACK IMAGE IN IVAN NYZOVYI POETIC DEVELOPMENTS

Abstract
The article contains information on the peculiarities of representation of Cossacks in civil and patriotic thematic area of Ivan Nyzovyi’s poetry. Series of images which are related with Cossacks and help to create a complex imaginative system were revealed. The analysis of lyrics of two poles – “lyrics of despair” and “lyrics of hope” based on the plurality of literature sources shows the peculiarities of the author’s vision of historical issues in the context of present time. It is pointed out that poems have patriotic orientation. It is emphasized that the poet represents himself as a descendant of an ancient Ukrainian Cossack family.
