The impact of state programs on the country’s competitiveness rating

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analytical review of economic development and growth according to the country’s competitiveness rating. The results of the implementation of state programs, in accordance with the standard of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (The OECD), are considered. The trends of the influence of state programs on the country’s competitiveness rating are revealed. Comparative analysis of the global competitiveness rating of the two states showed that Azerbaijan improved its results (35th place) and is ahead of the Republic of Kazakhstan (57th place). Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn that contain recommendations.
