The Imperative Mood as the Main Means of Expressing Imperative Constructions in the Modern Ukrainian Language

Abstract
The article is devoted to questions of the qualification of the imperative mood, which underlies the formation of imperative syntactic constructions. The evolution of the linguistic views at the status of imperative mood in the system of verbal moods, the definition of its composition, is traced. An accurate definition of imperative as the main form of expressing imperative constructions is proposed.
