The importance of work in human life and development. The consequences of unemployment

Abstract
Work is an inseparable part of our lives. Thanks to work homo sapiens evolved from the animal world. Through work we can fulfill a major part of our needs. It is also necessary for us to develop. Therefore, it seems that work and values result-ing from it should be easy to define. However, is it really that simple? The aim of this paper is to present ways of defining human work, as well as to determine its meaning in human life. For this reason, the author also discusses the issue of unemployment and its psychological and social consequences.
