THE INFLUENCE OF THE STATE-OWNED BANKS ON THE COUNTRY’S SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article outlines the importance of the state-owned banks when ensuring the socio-economic development of Ukraine, i.e. special attention is devoted to the spheres of the banks’ influence on the country’s socio-economic development which are implemented through the banks’ transformation function and transferring free cash into loan and investment resources. In addition, the state-owned banks role in this process is defined. Also summarizes and systematizes the indicators which help assess the socio-economic development of the country. The domestic banking system current structure in terms of its assets ownership is analyzed; moreover the dynamics of capitalization volumes and the state-owned banks financial result are highlighted. Finally, the paper established further directions of the Ukrainian state-owned banks transformations in the context of promoting social-economic development of the country.
