The Islamic Trends in Globalization
Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 6, Issue 10
Abstract
I slam would be seen as the fulfillment of the globalized social and moral trends and it attempts to create new possibilities for globalism, international social and moral values. Islam can see a globalization in its dominant face which is essentially about completing the moral circle in our lives at the expense of the social, the spiritual and the cultural one. Generally, in this paper we are also going to elaborate the Islamic paradigm as globalized items. There are some concepts such as: Tawheed (Unity), Khalifah (Trusteeship), Ibadah (worship), Ilm (Knowledge), Halal (Praiseworthy), Haram (Blameworthy), Adl (Social Justice) and Zolm (Tyranny). This is the vision of Umaah, the nations, a global community of believers and non- believers that defines the globalization. As a result Islam desires to reintegrate the individual as part of the national order. Islam's teachings are simple and intelligible. It is free from superstitions and irrational beliefs.Islam awakens in man the faculty of reason and the other globalized items and exhorts him to use his intellect. It enjoins him to see things in the light of reality. Islam considers that faith is not a mere profession of beliefs, but rather that it is the very mainspring of life. Righteous conduct must follow belief in Allah. Religion is something to be practiced and not an object of mere lip service. So Islam is a practical and globalized religion and does not allow indulgence in empty and futile theorizing.
