THE MAIN DIRECTIONS OF INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORTATION IN TURKEY

Abstract
The liberalization of international air agreements and air services on the experience of aviation policy in Turkey features in the article. It was determined that the term «regional aircraft» for Turkey plays a key role in the development of its aviation sector, as well as for the EU. Therefore, in order to further harmonization of Turkish legislation in aviation with the EU (Acquis) and to facilitate convergence with the Single European Sky project, Turkish Republic holds modernize its air infrastructure, changing its national legislation. The publication analyzed the features of air transport regulation in Turkey. Based on the study also found that, despite the trend towards liberalization, the significant restrictions of the Turkish government on the activity of airlines and property remain.
