THE MEASUREMENT SERVICE QUALITY IN THE HEALTH SECTOR BY MEANS OF SERVPERF SCALE: “THE EXAMPLE OF SEREFLİKOCHİSAR STATE HOSPITAL”

Abstract

In this study, ıt has been intended to measure the perception level of quality of service in health sector which is one of the most important service sector in Turkey. The SERVFERF tecnique has been used to measure the quality of service that the health services sector offered to patients of public hospitals. Due to limited time and material facilities, article has been limited to the Sereflikochisar State Hospital which oparetes in the district of Sereflikochisar. The study data, have been collected from the patients, with face to face survey method, who under treatment in various medical units of the hospital, 385 pieces available survey have been obtained. The result of the research findings have been found to be a high level of perception in the patients, policlinic examination rooms clean-looking, hygienic of research in blood and so on to be used vehicles and devices, laboratory staff help patients and their behaviors and levels of sufficient. In addition, as a result of the carried out tests of hypotheses, the patients showed significant difference about that they receive service’s perception from Sereflikochisar State Hospital according to their gender, education, residence, occupation and income.
