The phenomenon of the Odessa poster of the late twentieth century

Abstract
The article is devoted to the unique art of the poster, in particular, the political poster of Odessa, which became a notable phenomenon in the country’s fine art in the 70-80s of the twentieth century. The origins of such a rapid take-off of the Odessa poster are revealed. Perestroika proved to be a fertile ground for its heyday. The reasons for the loss of Odessa poster conquered positions are revealed.
