The Portfolio-Based Approach in the Enterprise Potential Strategy

Abstract
There have been presented the results of the research work "Developing the strategy for efficient using the potential of the processing industry enterprise" (№ 113U008155) and "Evaluating the competitiveness of the processing industry enterprise and developing recommendations on its improving" (№ 0113U008156). The portfolio-based approach in the enterprise potential strategy has been determined. There were used the following scientific research methods: analysis and synthesis (at studying the enterprise potential); comparison (at analyzing the efficiency of the enterprise potential); economic and mathematical (at developing proposals), logic generalization (at justification of the corporate portfolio and methodological support of the enterprise potential). New provisions for determining the portfolio-based approach in the enterprise potential strategy, which are represented in the scheme and recommendations on creation of the corporate portfolio and methodological support of the enterprise potential, have been highlighted. A block diagram of the potential strategy — the framework of the portfolio-based approach in the strategic management of the enterprise potential — has been created. Prospects for further research in this direction are to identify the complex problem of optimization and simulation of the enterprise potential under modern market conditions.
