Abstract
This article analyzes the legal content and legal nature of freedom of labor in the labor law of Ukraine. Freedom to work is seen as a set of opportunities and responsibilities of the owner of that freedom and others regarding the owner of this freedom. Critically assessing subjected basic scientific approaches to understanding the legal nature of the principle of freedom of labor.
