The Relationship between Transformational Leadership and Organizational Innovation (Case Study: Khoy Ministry of Education)

Abstract

The aim of the present study to examine the bond between transformational leadership and organizational innovation (case study: Khoy Ministry of Education). The study is survey and correlational in terms of the goal and quality of conduct. The statistical population comprised of all official employees of Khoy Ministry of Education and 332 individuals were chosen as the sample size using Morgan table. To collect the data use was made by Mehdipor’s (2014) organizational innovation questionnaire and Bass and Avolio’s (1998) transformational leadership questionnaire. Using Cronbach alpha coefficient, the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated. To run the analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics were use such as the frequency, percent, standard deviation and Person correlation coefficient. Findings of the present stud indicated that there was a significant relationship between employees; transformational leadership and organizational innovation. Also, there was a significant relationship between inspiring target0based influence and organizational innovation. In addition, it was found that there was a relationship between intellectual motivation and organizational innovation. Finally, it was reported that there was a relationship between individual considerations and organizational innovation.
