Abstract
Analysis of electric vehicle industry on the last stages of its development was carried out. The brief description of each of them was provided. The main trends in the development of electric vehicles, both at the current stage and in the near future were identified. It was noted, that electric vehicles have gained popularity all over the world as evidenced by the policy of many countries to encourage their citizens to buy them.
