THE REVIEW ON THE WOODEN MATERIAL USAGE IN TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURE SPECIFIC TO KASTAMONU'S KASABA VILLAGE’S CANDAROGLU MAHMUT BEY MOSQUE

Abstract
Kastamonu which has received various civilisations and important historical events reflects an important geography in terms of urban and rural with its cultural values. Candaroglu Mahmut Bey Mosque in Kasaaba Town on the northern west of city and stands with wooden bearings is one of the architectural values that Kastamonu has got them. The building is one of unusual models for the wooden material use in the traditional architecture and it was taken to The Temporary List of UNESCO World Heritage in 2014 as it has got specific properties. The research and promotion of the wooden material use for 650-year historical building comprise the goal of this study.
