Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2016, Vol 5, Issue 12

Abstract

All people view opening of a square with a green space and facilities as the urban revival. Some researchers believe that creating urban green spaces encourages people to walk and increases the land value and contributes to the development and prosperity of the tourism industry. In fact, according to Robert Pent , creating green spaces in the city increases the sense of socialization and peaceful coexistence in society. Nowadays, the cities have been differed from their previous shell that was a dirty place that people were trying to find an opportunity to escape from there and we now see that parks and green spaces will be made by utilizing urban open spaces that this makes the face of city very lively and interesting and increases expectancy in the urban population. Furthermore, creating urban green spaces makes the harsh and violent face of city very soft and pleasing and displays the horizon of city as a wonderful and beautiful one. In this paper, it has been tried to describe in detail the importance of creating green spaces in urban infrastructure and its role in reducing air pollution and improving public morale and preventing soil erosion and improving water quality in urban areas.
