THE ROLE OF STUDENT UNION COMMITTEES IN THE NATIONAL-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF THE YOUNG GENERATION

Abstract
Introduction. National-patriotic education of students is an integral part of the education of citizen of Ukraine. The role of trade union organizations in the national-patriotic education is to coordinate the efforts of the institutions and the formation of patriotic character of young people, which aims to develop active social life of the young man, becoming as a person, as a citizen of the state. Methods. Work of student union organization for the purpose of patriotic education is done by implementing specific optimal forms and methods of educational building (training, educational programs and plans, outside classroom work - creating conditions for full life and art of students) and coordinated activities and cooperation with student government, education, educational, cultural, civic organizations and authorities. Results. Through the acquisition of the younger generation of national consciousness, active citizenship, high moral character and spiritual formation requests made conscious citizen, representative of Ukrainian national elite. Discussion. The leaders of student unions are always ready to work actively for social and intellectual development of students, to stimulate their activity, opening creative personality and increasing legal literacy of young people in their schools.
