The safety protection equipments for mining conveyer machines

Abstract
The accidents occurred in mining machinery operation occupy the fourth place of the total accidents in China coal mining, among the most of them belongs to conveying operation, such as hoisting, belt conveyer and inclined hoisting. Therefore, developing new safety protection equipments to avoid the accidents in mining machinery operation is very important to accident reduction in China coal mines. In this paper, the design of hydraulic station with high reliability for hoisting brakes, protection equipments for over-winding and bottom crash of cages, automatic hydraulic tension equipments for belt conveyer, and catch equipments for tramcars are introduced. The rescue robot to be applied in coal mines is also shown.
