The Schroeder Frequency of Furnished and Unfurnished Spaces
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2012, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper considers the situation in which an empty room is furnished. Hence, the Schroeder frequency of an empty room is compared with the Schroeder frequency of the same room when it is furnished. It is concluded that the Schroeder frequency of empty spaces is more accurate compared with the Schroeder frequency of furnished spaces.

The Analysis of Factors That Influence the Sound Absorption Coefficient of Porous Materials
In this paper are presented researches on the identification of factors that influence the sound absorption coefficient of porous materials used for absorption of the sound wave. To achieve these researches were used thr...
The Influence of Perforations on the Surface of a Sound Absorbing Material on the Sound Absorption Coefficient
The paper presents the research on the influence of perforations on the surface of a sound absorbing material on the sound absorption coefficient. The porous sound absorbing material used in this research was made from f...
Analysis of the Sound Field in Enclosures
Steady-state sound field in closed spaces may be calculated as a series of normal modes of oscilatings. Experimental results are not explained completely by this theory and for these differences should be an additional t...
Vibrations of the Rigid Solid with a Point Constrained to Move on a Mobile Curve
This paper makes a numerical study for the vibrations of a physical pendulum for which the suspension point is constrained to move on a mobile curve. The matrix equation of motion is presented and the study is performed...
