THE SPECIFICITY AND METHODOLOGICAL NUANCES OF THE PIANIST-CONCERTMASTER’S ACTIVITY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the concertmaster’s mastery: this is the profession that embodying both art and crafts. The master is a talented pianist who plays the role of «the first violin», performs the organizing function of the musical collective. In such collaboration, a pianist-concertmaster and a musical ensemble must pay attention not only to technical points but also to psychological. The complexity and versatility of this area of musical performance are due to the fact that not everyone dares to assume this kind of responsibility. The reason is also that the concertmaster has to independently interpret the work, understand his vision of the soloist, and also be prepared for the constant lack of time for proper preparation. Therefore, this profession takes into account the ever-changing repertoire, peculiarities of work with the orchestra and the art of the embodiment of a complete artistic work.
