THE STRUCTURE OF THE AIRWAYS AND LUNG PARENCHYMA

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2023, Vol 2, Issue 5

Abstract

The main function of the lungs is the exchange of gases: the absorption of oxygen from the environment and the removal of carbon dioxide from the body. These processes are necessary for cellular metabolism. Effective gas exchange is possible with the integration and coordination of the functions of various organs.
