Journal Title: Conjuntura Austral: journal of the Global South - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 35

Abstract

This article briefly analyses the state of the art of the studies on the relations between Brazil and the European Union between 1957 and 2014, based on files found in virtual databases. Through this analysis, we propose a periodization of material found, according to which it is divided into four categories: "The early days (1950s to 1970)"; “The Enlargements (decades 1970-1980)”; "The interregional agreements (decade 1990-2007)"; and "The individualization of the Brazil-European Union relations (2007-)".
