THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF DEVELOPMENT EFFICIENCY EVALUATION OF THE DAIRY CATTLE-BREEDING SECTOR

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the theoretical and methodological bases and improvement of the approaches to development efficiency evaluation of the dairy cattle-breeding sector. The essence of economic efficiency as a scientific category is revealed. The list of the indicators of technological, economic and social efficiency of dairy cattle-breeding development with differentiation on the micro and macro levels is considered. For total evaluation of the sector’s development efficiency in the national economy, it is proposed to use integrated evaluation that can be applied throughout Ukraine. It is revealed that is, it will allow to analyze the trends in dairy cattle-breeding development in the particular regions, natural and climatic zones or economic regions quantitatively and qualitatively, and to indicate the available reserves or unused opportunities to increase efficiency.
