The traffic intensity prediction in transport network by means of reducts set
Journal Title: Scientific Journals of Silesian University of Technology. Series Transport - Year 2012, Vol 2012, Issue 77
Abstract
The paper discusses several aspects of traffic modelling; with its unpredictable controlling processes. The subject of the analysis comes from the rough sets theory implemented for the transportation processes description. The key problem of the analysis can be found in the traffic intensity prediction, for junctions of the network graph’s arches description, using not necessarily complete data of the observable network part.

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT MEANS OF TRANSPORT ON THE LEVEL OF TRAFFIC NOISE
One of the factors influencing the level of traffic noise is the type of vehicles moving on the roads. The paper presents comprehensive research, as conducted by the authors, which sought to assess the traffic noise leve...
CITY LOGISTICS: INFLUENCE OF OVERSIZED ROAD TRANSPORT ON URBAN DEVELOPMENT
This paper describes the influence of road transport on urbanization and the transport of oversized loads. There is an increasing interest in oversized transport and urban development. In this developmental context, it i...
POSSIBILITY OF PROCESSING PARAMETERS OBTAINED FROM ON-BOARD FLIGHT DATA RECORDERS FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND PREDICTING RELIABLE OPERATION PERIODS OF IMPORTANT AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT
In recent years, much attention has been paid to the recording of flight data in order to provide objective information concerning routine and emergency in-flight situations. The data recorded can be used for assessing t...
ANALYSIS OF INTERNAL SOURCES OF HAZARDS IN CIVIL AIR OPERATIONS
International air law imposes an obligation on the part of transport operators to operationalize risk management, and hence develop records of hazards and estimate the level of risk in the respective organization. Air tr...
WEIGHING SYSTEMS IN TRAFFIC
This article presents a brief overview of weighing systems and devices designed to facilitate fluent and safe road traffic. The number of vehicles on roads is perpetually on the rise, resulting in increased wear of road...
