The Use of Videagogy in Teaching Araling Panlipunan

Abstract
The study attempted to investigate the use of Videagogy model on the academic achievement of Pupils in Sumilao Elementary School especially in Grade V. This was conducted in Sumilao Elementary School Division of Bukidnon, District of Sumilao, in the school year 2018-2019. The study utilized quasi experimental research design. Develop lessons about a.) Lokasyon ng Pilipinas b.)Panahon at Klima sa Pilipinas c.) Mga Teorya tungkol sa pagkabuo ng Kapuluan ng Pilipinas. d.) Ugnayang Panlipunan ng Sinaunang Pilipino as well as the 20 item academic performace test were assessed and validated by the panel of experts. The mean and standard deviation were used as the statistical analysis (ANOVA) and Paired T-test was also employed. Findings showed that the post test of experimental group that was taught with the use of Videagogy Model shows satisfactorily with a SD of 3.346 result compared with the control group that was taught with conventional teaching method which got a SD of 2.908 or Did Not meet Expectations as its qualitative description . The study shows that there was a significant difference in the pre test and post test of pupils and on the other hand, there was no significant difference in the post test result of pupils between two groups.
