ТHEORETICAL AND APPLIED ASPECTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPETITIVENESS DEFINITION

Abstract
The author proposes to allocate the definition of "international investment competitiveness" in the system of concepts that define the features of international investment at different levels of the economic system. Justification of the theoretical approaches to the analysis of international investment competitiveness will make effective decisions regarding the formation of stable and sufficient FDI inflows in the real sector of the national economy. In the article describes the characteristics of the international investment competitiveness as a precondition to strengthen the industry, region or country competitive position in the international investment. The author approaches to its evaluation as a result of foreign investor's investment activities that realizing investment attractiveness of the national economy or industry. The paper proposes the use of theoretical approaches for the development of Ukraine's investment policy in relation to FDI inflows.
