THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF THE INTERPRETATION OF THE CATEGORIES “MARKET” AND “MARKET MECHANISM”

Journal Title: Інноваційна економіка - Year 2017, Vol 70, Issue 7

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is the development of theoretical and methodological provisions on the basis of generalization of the views of domestic and foreign scholars on the interpretation of the category “market” and “market mechanism”. Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods are used in the process of research, in particular: the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, analysis and synthesis; systemic generalization – in the consideration and scientific substantiation of the category “market” and “market mechanism”. Findings. It is established that all the above-mentioned theories perceived the market mechanism of the functioning of the economy from the standpoint of the influence of money, weighted monetary policy on the state of demand and the supply of the economy as a whole. It is proved that self-regulating systems do not exist in real practice absolutely, which concerns the economy as well. The analysis of the above definitions of the term “market” convinces that this economic category is not considered as a single and static. Originality. The importance of the economic role of the state in the conditions of a market economy, which is a fundamental issue in economic theory, the urgency of which grows under crisis conditions and requires a reassessment of the effectiveness of state instruments, is scientifically substantiated. It is proved at the theoretical level that one of the important factors of inflation is the conflicts between the subjects of the market, because workers care about their interest in obtaining a higher level of wages, while commodity producers – the prices of manufactured products, which predetermines market failures, as well as the endogenous nature of the money supply, in addition, the emergence of permanent inflation becomes possible. Practical value. The obtained results of the study increase the degree of interaction between structures, consumers, regulatory influences on the competition policy of enterprises, redistribution of the created product.
